Mounted Shooting Clinic

This Event is FULL, spectators without horses and volunteers are welcome at no charge!
The goal is to shoot 10 balloons as fast as you can riding a horse and going through a designated pattern. We use REAL GUNS, mostly Ruger Vaquero’s .45 caliber REVOLVERS. These are 6 shooters, but we only put 5 in the cylinder at a time, we carry the 2 guns in our holsters, either on our hips, or over the shoulder harness style. We are using BLANKS, NOT REAL BULLETS! The blanks spray gunpowder out about 15 ft. which is what pops the balloon targets. IT IS TONS OF FUN!!!
